Payments & cancellations
Payments
A 20% deposit is required to secure your booking. This is normally non-refundable if you cancel, subject to our cancellation limits. The remaining balance is due 14 days before arrival. For bookings made 14 days or less before arrival, full payment is required when the booking is confirmed. Both arrival and collection days are charged.
Cancellations
This policy applies to boarding bookings. Please give as much notice as possible.
- 14 days or more before arrival: the cancellation charge is limited to your 20% deposit, with no further cancellation fee.
- Less than 14 days before arrival: the cancellation charge is limited to 50% of the total booking price. This includes your deposit—it is not an additional 50%.
Cancellation charges, including any deposit retained, will not exceed the reasonable loss caused by your cancellation. Any payments above the applicable charge will be refunded.
How to cancel or request changes
Please send cancellations by email to Kayjohnson@harleybell.co.uk or through Revelation Pets, so there is a dated record. Notice is measured from when we receive your cancellation to your booked arrival date.
For date changes, contact Kay as soon as possible. Changes depend on availability and must be agreed.
If we cancel
If HarleyBell Bunnies cancels your stay, all payments for the cancelled stay will be refunded.
These terms apply to new boarding bookings. Existing bookings retain their previously agreed terms unless a change is agreed with you. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Are you taking rabbit bonding bookings?
Bonding is fully booked for 2026. We are taking enquiries for 2027. Please contact Kay with your rabbits’ details and preferred dates.
Other questions
Are arrival and collection days charged?
Yes. Both days are included in the boarding charge, even if you arrive later or collect earlier in the day.
Do rabbits need vaccinations?
Yes. We only accept fully vaccinated rabbits and require proof. Send your vaccination evidence when arranging the booking.
Can bonded animals stay together?
Our prices include bonded pairs, trios and groups of four sharing accommodation. Tell us about your group so we can discuss the appropriate setup.
Do you offer indoor and outdoor boarding?
Yes. Please discuss your preference and your pets’ usual living arrangements before booking. Accommodation is subject to suitability and availability.
Can you care for pets with additional needs?
Tell us about any health concerns, medication and special care before booking. We will discuss whether we can meet those needs; please do not assume these arrangements are included without agreement.
How much is bonding?
£85 for a pair, £105 for a trio and £125 for four rabbits. Please enquire for larger groups. Timing and success depend on the rabbits involved.
What does grooming cost?
Rabbit and guinea pig grooming costs £10–£35. We will confirm the price based on the work needed.
Where do you offer visits and transport?
We are based in Fareham. Send your area and requirements so we can check coverage and quote. Boarding enquiries are welcome from Fareham and surrounding areas.
